Explore miles of beautiful paved bike paths on a new Specialized bike available from Calhoun Bike Rentals and Tours. Conveniently located just one block from Lake Calhoun and the Midtown Greenway Trail in the heart of Uptown, our amazing staff will help you plan your ride. All rentals include a helmet, bike lock and map.

You and your group will be will escorted by one of our fancinating tour guides as you explore Minneapolis by bike. We provide the interesting trivia and point out little known historical facts about our beloved city. Choose from one of our three tours or create one of your own. Call to register for one of scheduled Tours or schedule one that that meets your specific needs. Groups of all sizes, minimum of four persons per tour.
Call ahead if you have a group of four or more, and we can work with you to add a tour during the week. The regular schedule is for the Historic Main Street tour, but we will run any of the listed tours if it is the group's preference.

Minneapolis Historic Main Street
Three to four hours in length
Easy-to-moderate intensity
Bike the Kenilworth Trail to the Walker Art Center Sculpture Garden. You will have an opportunity to stroll the Gardens and have a photo opp at the world famous sculpture THE CHERRY AND THE SPOON. Crossing the IRENE WHITNEY BRIDGE into Loring Park you will understand why Minneapolis is one of the most charming cities in the world. You will ride down the Nicollet Mall through the heart of the downtown and the business district, toward the mighty MISSISSIPPI RIVER. You'll pass the world-reknowned Guthrie Theatre and over the Stone Arch Bridge on to Historic Main Street. Time permitting you can stroll the cobblestone streets and get a quick bite to eat at the delightful ASTER CAFE. Pedal across Nicollet Island and over to the new Twins home THE TARGET STADIUM before heading back to CBR.

City of Lakes Tour
One and a half to two hours long
Easy trails perfect for families with children
Find out why Minneapolis is called the City of Lakes. Tour the urban Chain of Lakes on miles of paved bike paths. We’ll ride through historical Kenwood, by the Bakken Museum, and stop to take pics at one of the most photographed sites in Minneapolis, the beautifuil Lake Harriet Bandshell. We'll even stop to smell the roses at our beautiful Lake Harriet Peace Garden that annually grow over 1000 varieties of Roses.

The Mini Grand Rounds Bike Tour

Moderate to hard intensity
The Midtown Greenwaycommuter bike trail takes us through the wonderful array of ethnic neighborhoods that comprise Minneapolis. You will view the Minneapolis skyline as you cross the beautiful Martin Olav Sabo bike bridge. Feel the wind in your face as you cruise along side the mighty Mississippi. We'll take a break at Minnehaha Park to see the historic Minnehaha Falls, grab a bite at the Sea Salt Resturant before heading down the MInnehaha Trail that winds past Lake Nokomis and Lake Harriet before heading back to CBR.
